This worksheet invites you to take a closer look at a specific communication situation from everyday life. The aim is not to analyze what is right or wrong, but to perceive everything that resonates when we say or hear something.
- The situation
Briefly describe a specific situation that is on your mind.
- Where did it take place?
- Who was involved?
- Was there a particular sentence or message that had a lasting effect?
- Four possible levels of the message
Read the situation again and write down in keywords what could be implied at the different levels. It is not about certainties, but about possible meanings.
Factual information
- What is the factual level about?
- What was actually said or written?
Self-disclosure
